I am sure most have walked around their house and thought...If only I could wave my Magic Wand and have this whole place organized and clean. Well right now, I am really wishing I had a Fairy Godmother who could wave that Magic Wand for me!
Changing out clothes for the season, results in a BIG MESS!
Crafting projects EVERYWHERE!
Kids toys that are in every room of the house at this point..
Consignment clothes that need to be tagged still lay in a BIG rubbermaid container...
Blog post and crafting projects racing through my mind....
School lesson plans that need to be done by Monday...
Birthday plans that need to be started quickly..
and
2 kids that need to spend a little time with Mom..
UGH!
Please Fairy Godmothers...come wave your Magic Wand for me!
In all seriousness..How do you crafty/working/blogging moms get it all done and still GROW your blog?
I would LOVE to hear your ideas!
It is so tough!! I have two boys, one is at school part time, so that helps, but time management is key! I am not the best at it, don't let me fool you! But I am able to do my best when I set aside time slots for things. So in the morning I clean so I feel like i can do other things because I did my housework first. Then when the little one is napping, I do what I can. Then we play. I feel better about being with my boys because I have managed my other activites. And sometimes I have quiet time when mommy does her thing and the boys just have to play so I don't go insane! It is so tough though, and I don't always do it. More often than not I probably don't, but I have found when I do it works! Imagine that!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. That's how I felt last night too. this morning I just got right down to it and honestly, now I feel a million times better!
ReplyDeleteBtw, thank you for commenting on my tee refashion, it made me smile!
I am a single mom and a middle school teacher. My life is crazy, so I have a secret to help me with my housework... a housekeeper! She is worth every penny and will even mow my grass!

It's almost impossible to find balance all the time. You may achieve it for a week or two, but then the scale tips in one direction or the other and you're struggling to get back there again. I think a lot of bloggers look like they get it all done, but the reality is that they don't. They don't show you pictures of the mountains of laundry and piles of dirty dishes. I personally don't get it all done. I have learned to let a lot go... first when I had children and then when I started blogging. It's the only way to stay sane.
ReplyDeleteOh if we could all have a Fairy Godmother!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my little blog and following along! If you find your Fairy Godmother, send her may way when you're done! I would love a little magic around here too!

ReplyDeleteWhat you don't see in all our pictures on blogs is the massive pile of laundry just outside the frame! But in all honesty I write all my blog posts ahead of time and have them publish on certain days (usually monday and thurs) and I make sure my hubby has enough underwear for a solid week and a half! :) Thanks for your support at Crafts by Holly!
